Sneaky health destroyers that few doctors test for

I think it’s safe to say that when most people don’t feel quite right (or downright lousy), unless it’s something minor and short-lived like a cold, the average person will go to the doctor to see what’s wrong.

And hopefully after whatever tests are necessary, get some answers and a solution.

But alas, life does not always work out that way.

Because it’s entirely possible that you can consult a doctor, go through a battery of tests, and still be told at the end of the day that nothing’s wrong!

Let me assure you, if you’re not feeling right, there IS a reason.  It just may be that whatever tests you were given didn’t pick up on it.

While the variety of tests that most mainstream doctors may order can run the gamut, there are still certain health-destroying issues that very few will test for.

And the longer these issues are ignored, the lousier you will continue to feel.

Here’s what I mean.

Sneaky health destroyers that few doctors test for

Although most doctors are well-intentioned and want to provide answers to your concerns, there are a number of underlying health-destroying issues that they don’t typically look for.

Here are three of the most common:

1) Candida overgrowth

The symptoms of candida overgrowth mimic many other illnesses and can include:

  • Chronic sinus and/or allergy issues
  • Repeated UTIs or vaginal yeast infections
  • Brain fog; fatigue
  • Mood swings
  • Joint pain
  • Gas, bloating, heartburn or constipation
  • Persistent cough; sore throat

That’s why it’s not on the radar of most doctors to test for it.  Instead you’ll likely be given a medication for symptoms, possibly including antibiotics, pain relievers, acid reducers, cough medicine, or laxatives.

What makes this more challenging is candida overgrowth can be difficult for a physician to diagnose. Possible tests include stool or blood tests, candida DNA test, or microbial organic acids testing, but candida infection can present itself in different ways with different people.

What to do:  One of the easiest ways to tell if candida may be affecting you is to look in the mirror and stick out your tongue.  If you see a white coating, chances are good you have a degree of candida overgrowth.

To help attack candida head-on and curb any overgrowth, Optimal Yeast Support Blend is your ticket!

Optimal Yeast Support Blend contains a well-researched blend of the best, most effective natural herbal antifungals and antimicrobials plus biotin, that work together to fight back at yeast overgrowth and encourage a healthier (more helpful—not harmful!) intestinal yeast population.

Also, help encourage a stronger population of friendly microbes in your gut with Super Shield PLUS multi-strain probiotic formula.

Two of the 15 powerhouse probiotic strains in Super Shield PLUS, Lactobacillus rhamnosus and Lactobacillus acidophilus, have been shown to be extremely effective in fighting Candida!

And Super Shield PLUS's 13 other potent strains support L. rhamnosus and L. acidophilus in keeping your microbiome in a healthy balance, ready and able to keep candida in check, fend off harmful bacteria, and protect against leaky gut too.

2) Heavy metals

Heavy metals are practically everywhere in our environment, and the more they burrow their way into your cells, tissues and organs, the sicker you may become.

The two most common and prevalent heavy metals are aluminum and mercury.

Aluminum

Aluminum is found in cookware, beer and soda cans, foil, antacids, baking powder, anti-perspirants, margarine, buffered aspirin, bleached white flour and vaccines.

Aluminum is harmful to your nervous system with symptoms that can include disturbed sleep, nervousness, emotional instability, memory loss, headaches, and impaired thinking and memory.

It can impair your body's ability to use calcium and phosphorus, which reduces bone density and increases your risk of osteoporosis.

It also binds with brain cells and is associated with the plaques found in Alzheimer's patients.

Mercury

Mercury is found in amalgam fillings, pesticides, cosmetics, tattoo dyes, laxatives, paper products, home thermometers, fish (especially shark, swordfish, tuna, mackerel and sea bass), and vaccines (especially flu shots).

Mercury causes damage to your cells and their functions which can be drastic and eventually lead to failure of organ systems such as the lungs, kidneys and your brain and nervous system.

Mercury exposure can cause mental dysfunction, fatigue, poor memory, depression, neurological and muscular disorders, kidney and gastrointestinal problems, infertility and heart disease.

Mercury also acts as an immunosuppressant in the body, weakening your immune system and encouraging the development of autoimmune conditions.

What to do: If you suspect heavy metals are an issue for you, insist that your doctor do a urine test.  It involves collecting your urine for a period of time (usually 6 – 24 hours), then submitting a sample and having it analyzed.

Also, make sure you have a health-supporting diet of wholesome real foods.  Heavy metals can deplete your body’s store of nutrients, so a healthy diet is crucial.

And Super Shield PLUS can help here too, since the bowels are one of the ways your body eliminates heavy metals.  Since Super Shield PLUS helps pave the way for more regular BMs, you can help support your body’s efforts to get rid of them.

3) Nutrient deficiencies

It continues to boggle my mind that so many practitioners still fail to test for nutrient deficiencies, or even ask about someone’s diet.

That’s like an auto mechanic ignoring the fact that someone put Coca-Cola in their gas tank, and instead just goes ahead and changes the oil and spark plugs.

Every single disease known to man has its roots in one or more nutrient deficiencies, and that includes our top 2 killers—heart disease and cancer.

Two of the most concerning deficiencies are Vitamin D and Omega-3 fatty acids.

Vitamin D

In addition to being crucial to bone health, Vitamin D also helps prevent excessive immune responses such as those seen in autoimmune diseases like Crohn’s, colitis, multiple sclerosis, lupus, psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis.

It also encourages healthy blood glucose and insulin levels, which is important for Type 2 diabetics, and protects you against cancer and heart disease.

Omega-3 fatty acids

Omega-3 essential fatty acids support cardiovascular health by reducing plaque growth, promoting healthier triglyceride and cholesterol levels, preventing blood clotting and encouraging lower blood pressure.

They also support brain health, and are essential to learning and memory. Your brain is especially rich in the Omega-3 EFA Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA).

Plus Omega-3 fatty acids help reduce inflammation and lower your risk of chronic diseases including cancer and arthritis.

What to do: Your doctor can do a blood test to see where you stand with these and other nutrients.

Now, the reason Vitamin D and Omega-3 fats are among the most common deficiencies is that food sources of both are limited.

Plus people have been conditioned to shun the sun, so their bodies can’t make Vitamin D like they are designed to.

To help compensate for deficiencies in these two nutrient superstars, supplementation is your best bet.

Our Optimum DK Formula with FruiteX-B® contains therapeutic levels of Vitamin D3, as well as Vitamin K and the mineral boron, which work together to support strong bone and cardiovascular health.

And each daily dose of our VitalMega-3 Omega-3 fish oil formula contains a generous 1,000 mg of the “cream of the crop” Omega-3 EFAs—EPA and DHA—in the highly recommended 3:2 ratio.

Get to the bottom of what may be causing your health issues and start feeling better now!

To your health,
