Reason #1: You’re on a diet
Dieting doesn’t work! Your “diet” instead should be a lifestyle of eating wholesome real foods.
Reason #2: You don’t get enough sleep
Daytime fatigue makes you crave sugary snacks. Be sure to get 7-9 hours of sleep each night.
Reason #3: You drink soda
The HFCS in regular soda creates fat, and artificial sweeteners in diet soda make you hungry. Avoid ALL soda.
Reason #4: You’re stressed
Elevated cortisol causes you to stress eat carbs. Find ways to de-stress—exercise is number one.
Reason #5: You’re on medications
Steroids, antidepressants, diabetes drugs, hypertension drugs and acid reducers cause weight gain. Ask your doctor about alternatives.
