Statins have no side effects

Statins have no side effects

It boggles my mind how the dangerous potential side effects of statins are either downplayed, ignored, or out and out denied by many medical professionals.

Worse yet, patients are being told that the symptoms are all in their heads!

Despite the numerous lawsuits that have been filed against statin manufacturers since the mid-90s for the pain and suffering that people have endured, these drugs continue to be vehemently defended and touted as safe.

Why would that be?

Well, to answer that let’s follow the money…

Prevention is where the big money is

I can’t think of anything more lucrative to a drug company than creating a perceived need to take a drug to prevent a condition.

Think about it.

A person takes a drug out of fear because they have a risk factor (in this case elevated cholesterol) that may (but not necessarily will) increase their risk of developing a disease (atherosclerosis), but they never have a chance to know how healthy and disease-free they otherwise would have been because they’re scared to death to stop taking the drug.

I wish I could make this stuff up!

Plus drugs are never the answer to preventing anything.

All drugs are chemicals that your body was never meant to ingest—instead they must be detoxed by your liver—and regardless of how “safe” they are purported to be, the fact is, they will always have a negative effect on you in one way or another.

Is it all in their heads?

It is a FACT that people are being harmed by statins!  Statin side effects include:

  • Muscle pain and weakness, which can lead to incapacitation
  • Diabetes
  • Abnormal increases in liver enzymes
  • Dizziness
  • Breakdown of muscles which can cause kidney failure & death
  • Nausea, stomach pain, constipation, diarrhea
  • Sore throat, runny or stuffy nose
  • Sexual dysfunction
  • Peripheral neuropathy (numbness & tingling in your extremities)
  • Headaches
  • Pain or burning with urination
  • Memory loss
  • Depression
  • Pancreatic inflammation
  • Gallstones
  • Low energy
  • Abnormal heart rhythm

Tell me, does any of this sound “safe” to you?

Now you know the truth

Now that you know the truth about statins you know that they are not the “safe miracle drug” they’ve been made out to be.

Luckily, there are safe, natural ways you can help reduce your cholesterol (or keep it at an already healthy range) as well as enhance your overall level of health.

Here they are:

Eat your way to lower cholesterol and better health

Excess saturated fat (especially trans-fats) and refined carbs can both contribute to elevated cholesterol.

Plus since fiber acts like a broom in your colon to help sweep away excess cholesterol, a diet low in fiber can worsen a cholesterol problem as well.

So it's crucial to have a healthy, balanced diet that will help you:

  1. Avoid trans-fats at all cost
  2. Consume reasonable amounts of healthy saturated fats
  3. Avoid refined carbs and
  4. Get natural dietary sources of fiber

The Great Taste No Pain system can guide you all the way.

The Great Taste No Pain plan teaches you the dangers of eating trans-fats and refined carbs.

It also guides you in having a balanced diet including proteins, fiber-rich fresh vegetables and fruits, whole grains and legumes which can help whisk away old cholesterol instead of leaving it to be reabsorbed.

And the best part is Great Taste No Pain truly lives up to its name--every single dish in the recipe section is mouth-watering delicious.

Support a healthy essential fatty acid balance

When you have too many Omega-6 EFAs and too few Omega-3s (like most people with a typical modern diet do), you're encouraging inflammation, pain and disease, as well as not being able to eliminate cholesterol as well as you should!

But when you bring the balance closer to the ideal 3:1 range, the Omega EFAs act together in harmony to keep inflammation low in your body (including your arteries!) and help you get rid of excess cholesterol.

VitalMega-3 can help you achieve this optimal balance.

Based on recent studies, the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) reported decreases in cholesterol of up to 20 percent in just 10 days by boosting Omega-3 EFA's through diet and supplementation!

VitalMega-3 is a top quality molecularly distilled fish oil that delivers an impressive 1,000 mg of EPA+DHA Omega-3s in every daily two-capsule serving.

Put probiotics to the test

Probiotics can help reduce blood cholesterol in 3 ways:

  1. They create acids that counter cholesterol production (a natural, safe "version" of what Lipitor is supposed to do!)
  2. They break down bile acids so your liver has to “use up” excess cholesterol to make more
  3. They actually "eat" cholesterol too!

Super Shield multi-strain probiotic formula is up to the cholesterol-managing test.

One of Super Shield's powerhouse strains of bacteria, Lactobacillus Acidophilus DDS-1, is a superstar when it comes to helping to maintain healthy cholesterol levels.

And of course, probiotic supplementation helps to encourage regular bowel movements, which are vital for your body to eliminate old cholesterol.

If you want to do all you can to prevent disease, your answer lies not in a prescription bottle.

Instead fight disease by helping to create health naturally.

To your health,

Sherry Brescia
