People typically look to the drug and personal care industries to help achieve their health goals…but end up disappointed or downright harmed as a result.
For example, if you want beautiful skin, there are mountains of fancy creams out there all promising to make your largest organ soft and glowing.
But external moisturizers only do so much for healthy skin—you need water and nutrients too!
Is weight loss your goal? Brace yourself once you uncover the universe of diets and even weight loss drugs out there.
But remember that most diets don’t work because eventually you’ll go back to your old way of eating and the tide will roll back in. Plus, the side effects of weight loss drugs like Contrave include seizures and suicidal thoughts.
Feeling depressed? There are mounds of SSRI antidepressants to allegedly lift your mood.
But don’t forget that they also come with side effects including worsening depression and suicidal/homicidal thoughts.
So, what can you do?
Well, the good news here is that there are safe, natural answers to many health issues that come from the farmer—not the pharmacist.
In this case, I’m talking about the humble spice called TURMERIC!
Here are just some of the awesome, impressive health benefits of this spice used in Indian cooking:
1- Better skin
Turmeric is a very effective anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. As such, studies are suggesting that it can help prevent cell damage, support healthy collagen and enhance wound healing.
In addition, turmeric has been shown to help treat other skin issues including psoriasis!
2- Less joint pain
Turmeric’s anti-inflammatory properties are a superstar here too, and can help ease the pain associated with inflammatory conditions like arthritis.
As a matter of fact, some studies have shown it to be MORE effective at reducing joint swelling and tenderness than diclofenac sodium—a common arthritis medication!
3- Improved mood
A review of six studies published in the Journal of the American Medical Directors Association found that turmeric was effective at reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety within just four to eight weeks!
Although this is impressive, it’s no mystery. Studies are showing that inflammation and depression are closely linked. Since turmeric helps reduce inflammation, it can help with mental health too!
Plus, turmeric can also help increase your body’s level of DHA, which is an Omega-3 fatty acid that is vital for proper brain function.
4- Weight loss
Turmeric has been shown in studies to help boost fat-burning!
In addition, in an animal study conducted at York University, turmeric was shown to help limit weight gain and the growth of fat tissue in rats.
5- Fight autoimmune inflammation
Turmeric can help relieve inflammation by blocking the activity of several enzymes involved in the inflammatory process.
This is especially important to people with autoimmune conditions such as Crohn’s, colitis, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis and MS—all diseases that are characterized by chronic inflammation.
6- Blood sugar control
Research shows that turmeric can help maintain proper blood sugar levels by increasing insulin secretion by the pancreas and supporting the absorption of glucose out of the bloodstream into the cells.
Embrace the power of turmeric!
These are just some of the reasons I designed and created our very own Optimal Turmeric Blend.
There are many turmeric supplements out there, but they are not all created equal! Experts state that a quality supplement should contain at least 500 milligrams of curcumin per dose and should be fully standardized to 95 percent curcuminoids.
The best supplements should also contain black pepper fruit extract, which helps enhance absorption of the soothing turmeric.
And Optimal Turmeric Blend fits the bill in all cases! And the turmeric is organic to boot!
Why not give it a try and see all that it can do for you?
To your health,
Thank you for your inquiry. The generally accepted dosage range is between 500-1000 mg per day. Our Optimal Turmeric offers 750 mg in two capsule to get anti-inflammatory benefits. You can take Optimal Turmeric any time of day and it is recommended with water.
Some people who are prone to heartburn prefer to take it with food, but you can take it in whatever manner works for you. Sherry takes hers in the evening after dinner.
We hope this helps!
Hi Sherry, I have just been reading your comments about Turmeric, and how good it is for us. I have read similar comments, but no-one has advised how to use it. How much/how often, do we mix it with anything else. I look forward to your reply.
Thank you for reaching out to us! It is always recommended that thyroid medication be taken alone, away from any other medication or supplement. This is done to ensure maximum benefit. That being said, many people take turmeric and a thyroid medication daily; just not together. We always recommend that you speak to your doctor, but Optimal Turmeric could be a great addition to your supplement regimen!
Hello is this ok to take with thyroxine I have an under active thyroid x
I am convinced that we have natural remedies for all health problems, including serious ones like cancer. Instead, we are made to take medication, which can have serious side effects, simply because the pharmaceutical companies make a “mint” out of our health.
