How to feel great after Thanksgiving dinner (plus a delicious recipe too!)

Thanksgiving will soon be upon us!

It’s a time to reflect upon all of our blessings and be thankful for what we have.

But Thanksgiving is also an interesting paradox because it starts out with mass excitement and anticipation about all the delicious food that is being prepared.

And it ends with sheer agony and suffering over that very same food.

Does this sound familiar?

Were you a fire breathing dragon or a gas bag after last Thanksgiving dinner?

Did you have to unbutton your pants or skirt because you were so bloated?  (Or wear yoga pants?)

Could you burp-talk your way through “Alice’s Restaurant?”

If this describes you, then hear this now:  It doesn’t have to be that way any longer!

Here’s what I mean.

How to feel great after Thanksgiving dinner (and every other meal too!)

The typical Thanksgiving meal (and most people’s regular meals the other 364 days a year) are comprised of practically every type of food known to man, and this is extremely taxing on your GI tract.

Your stomach can’t properly carry out its prep work and complete the initial breakdown of your foods.  Then it’s downhill from there because your intestinal tract has to try to (unsuccessfully) make up for what your stomach didn’t accomplish.

So when you start burping, belching and blasting off after you eat, your body is simply saying, “I’m overwhelmed, and I can’t handle what you’ve given me!”

But the good news is, my Great Taste No Pain system can show you what foods to eat together (and what combinations to avoid!) to pave the way for smoother, more complete digestion, and help eliminate gas, bloating and heartburn.

Now don’t worry!  You’ll still be able to eat all the delicious foods you love.  You’ll just need to be a bit more careful about what foods you have together in your meals.

If you use Great Taste No Pain, then you know what I’m talking about, and you’ve most assuredly said goodbye to digestive distress.

And if you haven’t tried it yet, now is the time, and you too can start feeling great after you eat.

But what if I overdo it?

We all know there are times when you just can’t help yourself—you’ve just GOT to try a little (or a lot!) of everything on the table, even though you know there will be fireworks afterwards.

Well, for those times there’s Gastro BeCalm Blend!

Gastro BeCalm Blend is a safe, natural solution for people with temporary or ongoing digestive issues!

Unlike dangerous acid reducers and antacids, Gastro BeCalm Blend combines four of the most effective, well-proven herbs that soothe and calm a stressed stomach and encourage more comfortable digestion, easing heartburn and digestive pain.

These are the 4 herbal superstars in this wonderfully effective remedy:

Mastic Gum: Studies have shown that mastic gum kills Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) bacteria—the bacteria that causes most stomach ulcers!

Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice Root:  Licorice is one of the most important herbs of traditional Chinese medicine used to address stomach and intestinal problems.  It has been touted in studies to be very effective for heartburn, as well as nausea, indigestion and stomach pain.

Ginger Root: A proven antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, ginger has been used for centuries to treat digestive issues like ulcers, nausea, stomach pain and gas.  Ginger has also been cited in studies to inhibit the growth of H. pylori bacteria and reduce inflammation.

Marshmallow Root: Marshmallow has demulcent (soothing) properties and it helps protect inflamed internal tissues.  It can ease or prevent heartburn, stomach ulcer symptoms, diarrhea and constipation.

A Thanksgiving dessert recipe

Speaking of splurging, here is my favorite recipe for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner—pumpkin pie!

I’ll tell you how old this recipe is—I got it from the mother (Barb) of my boyfriend in my freshman year of high school—so it’s going on 45 years old, and everybody still asks me to make it for the holidays!

Note this recipe is featured in my Want To Lose Weight? Stop Dieting book.

Here it is—I hope you enjoy it:

Barb’s Pumpkin Pie

Serves: 8-10

1- 9-in. unbaked pie crust
2 eggs
2 cups pumpkin puree (fresh or canned)
3/4 cup sugar
1 2/3 cups light cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon cloves

Whipped heavy cream for topping (optional)

Preheat oven to 425°.

Beat eggs in a medium mixing bowl.  Add other ingredients and beat until well-mixed.

Bake at 425° for 15 minutes, then reduce oven temperature to 350° and bake for an additional 45-55 minutes or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean.

Cool and serve topped with whipped cream if desired.

Have a safe, healthy and happy Thanksgiving, and may God bless you and your family.

To your health,

Sherry Brescia

  • My ex-husband and I had always managed to stay friendly after our divorce in February 2017. But I always wanted to get back together with him, All it took was a visit to this spell casters website last December, because my dream was to start a new year with my husband, and live happily with him.. This spell caster requested a specific love spell for me and my husband, and I accepted it. And this powerful spell caster began to work his magic. And 48 hours after this spell caster worked for me, my husband called me back for us to be together again, and he was remorseful for all his wrong deeds. My spell is working because guess what: My “husband” is back and we are making preparations on how to go to court and withdraw our divorce papers ASAP. This is nothing short of a miracle. Thank you Dr Emu for your powerful spells. Words are not enough.
