Pain relief without dangerous NSAIDs or deadly opioids

A whopping one out of three Americans reports suffering from pain on a regular basis—that’s over 100 million of us hurting every single day.

The popular pharmaceutical offerings to ease our misery include NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), acetaminophen (Tylenol) and opioid painkillers.

While all three can be effective at reducing your pain, that pain relief comes with a very dear price…which in the end can cause you even MORE pain or even cost you your life!

For example, NSAIDs cause gastrointestinal bleeding.  In addition, studies are linking NSAIDS to liver damage—many patients using NSAIDS daily have elevated liver enzymes that are double the normal range!  If that goes on long enough, your liver can shut down.  No liver = no you.

Acetaminophen has also been strongly linked to liver and kidney damage, and it has even been shown to blunt your ability to feel emotions!

If that doesn’t scare you, I don’t know what will.

And we’re in the middle of an opioid crisis!  Opioids are highly addictive, and are a bridge to heroin use (with its risks of overdose and death).  According to a 2013 US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration report, nearly 80 percent of people who started using heroin had previously used prescription painkillers.

Safer, natural answers

The good news is there are many safe, natural ways to get real lasting relief from your pain!

Here are 10 natural pain remedies to consider:

Turmeric:

Turmeric is a potent anti-inflammatory spice that is commonly used in Indian cooking and has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries.  You can add turmeric to eggs, rice, greens, soups and roasted vegetables.  (Plus it is available in supplement form—see the next item below.)

Vitamins C and E:

Vitamin C is a noteworthy anti-inflammatory and has been shown to reduce pain and help people recover from sports injuries, and vitamin E relieves symptoms of arthritis and other inflammatory diseases.

Both of these outstanding natural pain relievers (plus turmeric and the anti-inflammatory herbs Boswellia and ginger!) are in our very own Super Core multi-vitamin and mineral formula!

Glucosamine:

Glucosamine supplements been shown to be very helpful with joint pain.  Some products also contain chondroitin which is fine, but glucosamine is the star of the show.

Omega-3 essential fatty acids:

Omega-3 EFAs are Nature’s primary anti-inflammatory and being low in them can devastatingly painful consequences.

You can help ensure your body has what it needs with an outstanding fish oil formula like VitalMega-3. Every 2-capsule dose of our pure, pharmaceutical-grade VitalMega-3 provides a soothing 1,200 mg of Omega-3 fats, plus Vitamin E (for even more anti-inflammatory relief!).

Water:

Dehydration can cause muscle weakness, and when the muscles surrounding and supporting your bones and joints are involved, that can lead to chronic pain.  Strive to drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of filtered water a day and see what a difference it can make in your level of pain.

Essential oils:

The documented benefits of aromatherapy continue to grow, and many essential oils have impressive anti-inflammatory properties including rosemary, sandalwood and lavender

Check out our line of Mooseberry Essential Oils that includes these three top-notch oils.

Acupuncture:

Results from mountains of studies show that acupuncture can ease chronic pain such as low back pain, neck pain, and osteoarthritis/knee pain. It can also help reduce the frequency of tension headaches and prevent migraine headaches.

I personally credit acupuncture for my ability to still do full-contact martial arts and run long distances at age 55!  Sometimes my low back flares up, but acupuncture and cupping take care of that fast.

Physical therapy:

PT exercises aimed at core stabilization and postural muscle strengthening help tremendously with back and neck pain, plus heat, ice and TENS can provide soothing pain relief.

Get enough sleep:

According to research from Great Britain, poor or insufficient sleep is a very strong predictor for pain in adults over 50.  Your circadian rhythm (your sleep-wake cycle) influences the biological activity of your cells…so if your sleep habits are poor, restless or interrupted, that can affect the health of your cells and lead to chronic pain.

Make sure you’re getting 7 to 9 hours of sleep each night.

Vitamin B12:

Vitamin B12 supports healthy nerve function and helps to maintain the myelin sheath which surrounds and protects your nerve cells.  Since pain (especially back pain) is frequently the result of nerve inflammation, B12 with its "nerve-soothing" properties can actually help reduce pain.

Unfortunately, B12 is a very common deficiency…and this is certainly adding to our levels of pain!

The best way to ensure you’ve got enough of this crucial nutrient is by supplementing with Hydroxaden 2.5 B12 oral spray.

A B12 spray like Hydroxaden 2.5 can be more efficient than tablet or capsule supplements (which can have varying absorbency rates depending on your level of stomach acid), and is a lot less costly and more convenient than B12 shots!

Now you are on the road to safe, effective relief from your pain!

To your health,

Sherry Brescia

  • I have 2 bottles of Hydroxaden 2.5. The spray mechanism on each of them does not work. When the sprayer is depressed product runs down the side of the bottle. I have tried cleansing the mechanism but that does not help. What do you suggest I do about this issue?

  • One therapy that was not mentioned is Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Field Therapy or PEMF.
There are many devices out that make claims but are based on 20 year old NASA studies. The device that has been in continuous development and is backed by clinical trials is the one from the original developer, Dr. Robert Dennis.
