Announcing our new line of essential oils!

I am very excited to announce the launch of our brand-new line of Holistic Blends’ essential oils!

Our line includes these outstanding, multi-purpose oils:

Quality above all

Our essential oils are prepared using an organic distillation process, which means there are absolutely NO toxins like pesticides, herbicides or GMOs present!

We are proud to say our producer takes care to know and thoroughly understand the source of the plants used in the essential oil distillation process.  The agriculture of the particular farms and their sustainable practices are carefully examined, and a very close relationship is maintained with the supplying farmers.

This allows us to confidently stand behind the quality of our oils and properly assess how they are made.  We’re not talking mass factory production here with who-knows-what kind of ingredients!

We also strive to source our essential oils locally within New York State as much as possible, as many of the plants that are native to New York produce some of the best quality oils available!

For example, our peppermint, rosemary and lavender are all grown locally here in humble Upstate NY.

Also, our producer carefully monitors the temperature, timing, extraction and distillation of the whole plant, and strives to stay with one strain of a plant at a time.  That way, the quality can be accurately measured and we can confidently say we are offering the best oils we can!

General tips

All our oils are designed for external use only, and with the exception of lavender, should be mixed with a carrier oil (if applying to the skin), or used in a diffuser.

When applying to the skin, try on a small patch first.  Most oils are safe for just about everybody, but sensitivities do pop up now and then.

They also can be used in the household!  For example, here is a recipe for homemade furniture polish:

Combine the following in a 4-oz. spray bottle:

1 TBSP Olive Oil or Jojoba Oil
1/4 c of Vinegar (use white vinegar if you are concerned about staining, but Apple Cider works well on dark wood)
25-30 drops of essential oils (lemon and citrus mix both work well)

Plus you can mix lavender essential oil with water in a small spray bottle and spritz your bedding to help relax and sleep better at night!

Check them out!

I encourage you to check out our new Holistic Blends essential oils and put the natural power of aromatherapy to work for you!

To your health,

Sherry Brescia

  • Love to use essential oils. The one I use you don’t have . Frankincense. If you ever start producing it I will surely buy it.

  • Hello. I noticed you state that your oils are designed for “external use only.” I have been using Young Living oils for some time now and have been able to use drops such as lemon, lavender, peppermint, etc. in water to drink. What is the difference that make their oils suitable for ingestion?

  • Hello Kacey,

Thank you for your inquiry! Our oils are often used for aromatherapy, such as in a diffuser. You can add essential oils to lotions and carrier oils as well. If you are going to apply them to pressure points on your body or over larger areas in a lotion and are worried about an overpowering scent, you may wish to experiment with the carrier oil of your choice to find the desired scent level. We hope this helps!

  • Please educate on the correct use of essential oils.
I am sensitive to some scents and find them overwhelming at times. If used in public places, especially restaurants, please be considerate of those around you. A strong scent can spoil a meal.
