When you introduce a more potent probiotic than you’re used to, your body may need a short adjustment period. During this time, some people experience mild, temporary symptoms such as extra gas, slight bloating, or minor changes in bowel habits. These are generally normal signs that your gut flora is shifting and rebalancing.

These sensations—if they occur at all—typically ease within a few days.

Be kind to your body in this adjustment period; avoid inflammatory foods (which we always recommend), take time to relax and keep stress low spending time in prayer or meditation, or with people and/or animals who help keep you centered.
